It is with a sense of sadness that we announce the passing of Jennifer Hoad, beloved wife, mother, and friend, who left this world peacefully on April 10, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on October 4, 1961, in the picturesque county of Lancashire, England, Jennifer's journey through life was marked by love, dedication, and kindness. Jennifer was the cherished daughter of John and Lillian Castley, who instilled in her the values of compassion and hard work. On January 5, 1980, she was united in marriage to her devoted husband, Lee Hoad, in Mackay, Queensland. Their bond was a testament to love and resilience, and together they created a nurturing environment for their family. Jennifer is survived by her loving husband, Lee, and their wonderful children, Nathan and Jannelle, who carry forward her legacy of love and strength. Her family brought her immeasurable joy and laughter, further enriching her life and giving her moments to treasure. Throughout her life, Jennifer was known for her warm-hearted nature and her unwavering support for those around her. She worked locally at a store, where her friendly demeanor and willingness to help others made her a cherished member of the community. Despite the challenges she faced, she approached life with a spirit of determination and grace. Jennifer maintained a passion for athletics that defined much of her personal time. Whether it was participating in events or simply enjoying the exhilaration of being active, her enthusiasm was infectious, inspiring those around her to pursue their own passions. While her life was unfortunately cut short, Jennifer's impact on her family and friends will be felt forever. She had a unique ability to lift the spirits of those she encountered, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
