It is with a heaviness of heart that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Barbara Walton, who left this world on February 23, 2025, at the age of 98. Born on January 25, 1927, in Sheffield, England, Barbara's journey through life was marked by love, resilience, and an unwavering spirit that touched everyone she met.

Barbara was the cherished daughter of George and Nellie Graves. She grew up in a time that shaped her into the remarkable woman she became—nurturing, compassionate, and dedicated to her family. On August 16, 1952, she married the love of her life, Walter Walton, in her hometown of Sheffield. Their marriage was a beautiful partnership that flourished through the decades, built on mutual respect, shared dreams, and a deep affection that served as a beacon of hope and love for all who knew them.

Barbara was a devoted mother to her four children, Paul, Valerie, Michael and Elaine. She poured her heart and soul into raising them, instilling in them the values of kindness, hard work, and perseverance. Her love was a constant source of strength and comfort, guiding her children through life's challenges. Barbara's legacy continues to flourish through her beloved children and their families, who will forever carry her spirit within them.

Barbara's life was not without its sorrows. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Walter, and her son, Michael, whose loss left an indelible mark on her heart.
