  Danny and I were close friends for many many years and he was so devoted to the love of his life Diana and their son James. The Brown family would come to come visit my late mother Sylvia and I when they could and they always called Mum "Lovie". I know you are grieving the loss of a great man and your best friend.   Condolences to Dan's family. I met Dan when at State Traffic Support Branch. Dan and I always loved a good joke and enjoyed telling stories about the "good old days". He was a great breath instructor and a valuable resource to the QPS. He will be missed and I will value the memories of Dan.

  I was introduced to Daniel Brown at Yarram Cares Qld and from the first day we met, he and his wife Diana, both made me felt special, then later Dan helped me obtain a mobile phone spending half the day setting it up for me.   Such great memories of working with Dan and our mutual love of cars.  Every time we talked we would laugh about a prang on the railway line at Keperra chasing a trail bike with the local member for parliament cheering us on from his back deck.   Rest easy mate you made a difference to a lot of people.
