  Mr Biggs was a customer of mine when I use to work at ANZ Kingaroy. He would come in every week and brighten my day with a joke and that old farmers hat, always giving out old tips and tricks for helping with ground fleas and growing produce. I vividly remember Mr Biggs insisting on dropping me off something he swore would help with ground fleas we were getting at home. He rocked up to my house around Christmas Day with a bottle of it and another concoction he made up for joint pain for my partner (who he had never met). Mr Biggs was a wealth of knowledge and always gave me the best advice. He was a kind man and would have given a stranger on the street the own shirt off his back if they needed help. I was devastated to hear of his passing and send my deepest condolences to his family. He was beloved in Kingaroy and known to everyone at ANZ bank as Mr Biggs. He will be missed Xx

  Marcel Van Der Harst

  I got to know Des after many visits with Care Outreach, Sam a young guy from Kingaroy and I would come out at least twice a year to help him out on the farm and bring items that would help him get around, especially in the last 2 years, we had the privilege of seeing him a week before he passed and was able to mow his lawns and purchase one of his horses he had picked for me before leaving this world. We were able to share the message of hope and the saving power of Jesus with him numerous times and hope he made a decision to follow after him in the end. He didn't leave the property in the end and made his commitment to his animals by staying there and enduring the pain he was fighting everyday. Marcel
