Obituary For Gladys Myrtle Reilly
Celebrating the Life of Gladys Myrtle Reilly (formerly Beresford)**
It is with heavy hearts and profound respect that we announce the peaceful passing of Gladys Myrtle Reilly (formerly Beresford) on October 27, 2024, in Beaudesert, Queensland. Gladys was born on August 18, 1929, in the tranquil town of Wondai, Queensland, marking the beginning of a life that would be filled with love, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to family and community.
Gladys was the treasured daughter of Allan Webb and Marjorie Webb (née Murrin), who instilled in her the values of kindness and perseverance that she carried throughout her life. Growing up, she embraced every challenge with grace and an indomitable spirit that inspired all who knew her.
A woman of remarkable strength and character, Gladys was known for her warm heart and generous spirit. Her legacy is one of love, as she dedicated her life to nurturing her family and leaving an indelible mark on all those she encountered. Her door was always open, and her home was a haven of comfort and joy.
Gladys is survived by her beloved children, Myrtle, Shirley, Allan, Joe, and Jenny, along with their families, who were the pride and center of her world. Each one of her children carries forward her legacy of love and kindness, embodying the values she so deeply cherished. Her presence in their lives was a guiding light, and her influence will continue to guide them in their journeys.
As a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother, Gladys found immense joy in the gatherings that filled her home with laughter and warmth. She was a woman of simple pleasures who took great delight in gardening, cooking, and sharing stories of her rich and fulfilling life. Her garden bloomed with the same vibrancy and care that she infused into everything she touched.
Gladys was a cherished friend and confidante to many, her wisdom and compassion touching the lives of all who were fortunate to know her. Her friendships stood the test of time, forming an enduring network of love and support that she cultivated over her many years.
In remembering Gladys, we celebrate a life well-lived, marked by love, devotion, and an indomitable spirit that will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her. Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit will forever be a part of our lives.
A funeral service will be held to honor her memory, where her loved ones will gather to share stories, laughter, and tears in remembrance of a truly remarkable woman.
Gladys Myrtle Reilly will be dearly missed but never forgotten, as her spirit and love live on in those she leaves behind. May she rest in eternal peace, reunited with those who have gone before her, and forever watch over her cherished family.
